Introduction

Most people buy crypto with their cards were the fee can be between 2-5%, which is very expensive. Here is a crypto exchange fee comparison of the worlds most commonly used crypto exchanges listed according to lowest trading fees. The list goes from highest to lowest trading fee, showing the exchange with the lowest fees at the end.

What are trading fees?

When using a crypto exchange to trade crypto each trade comes with a trading fee. This fee percentage vary depending on the crypto exchange. The most common trading fee is the fee for spot trading, which is when a trade or order is performed immediately. When trading spot users can trade using the market function or the limit function. The market function is when a user buys immediately from existing orders on the market. The limit function is used to set a buy or sell order on the market at a given price. When the market function is used a “taker fee” is applied and when using the limit function a “maker fee” is applied to the trade.

Which crypto exchange is the best?

I personally use all four exchanges (Bybit, Binance, KuCoin and Gate.io) for various reasons. Bybit and Binance I use for my big purchases of well known coins like Bitcoin, Ethereum. Bybit have more coins than Binance and Bybit also have a lot better staking features. When the coin I want to trade is not listed on Bybit or Binance, then I use KuCoin or Gate.io.
